Villa Incommunicada - Belize, oil seascape, lobster hut

Villa Incommunicada     oil      8"x 9"
Don't we all just need a place called Villa Incommunicada? A place of being at peace and away from noise? Well, this one does exist and it's in Belize, where my husband went last week for the fishing and brought back some shots of the wonderful Cerulean blue ocean and sunshine. Hope it provides you with a moment of quiet to contemplate today.

Fantabulous! You handled the tree beautifully. Wonderful turquoise and purple grays.

Beautiful capture on the water Mary, especially the shot of blue in the distance. Confident brush strokes.

Beautiful, Mary. I could look at this all day and feel calm and peaceful. You gave this just the right brushwork.

Wonderful! I love the sky in this painting and your brushstrokes. I'm a watercolor artist and have been dabbling with the oils for a change and would love to master your expertise with oil.... Brilliant!
